Marking 100 Years of the Green Revolution Pioneer
On 7th August 2025, a special moment unfolded at ICAR PUSA, New Delhi. As part of the MS Swaminathan Centenary International Conference, Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially released a commemorative postage stamp in honour of Prof. M.S. Swaminathan—the visionary behind India’s Green Revolution.

This stamp pays tribute to a scientist whose work ensured food on millions of plates and laid the foundation for India’s agricultural progress.
