To mark 80 years of the United Nations (UN) in 2025, India Post, in collaboration with United Nations India, has announced an exciting nationwide Stamp Design Competition. The contest invites students across the country to creatively visualize the role of the UN and India’s leadership in shaping a better global future.
This is not just a competition—it’s an opportunity to design a piece of history!
🗓️ Competition Timeline
Start Date: 1st July 2025
End Date: 15th August 2025
Venue: Participating schools and institutions across India
👉 Schools must upload entries only once on the MyGov InnovateIndia portal. Each school can submit a maximum of 5 entries.
🎨 Who Can Participate?
The competition is open to all students from:
- Class IX to XII
- Art Colleges
Eligible institutions include CBSE, State Boards, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and all recognized Art Colleges.
Only institutions can submit – individual entries will not be accepted.
A nodal officer must be designated for submission from each school or college.

Students are encouraged to reflect on India’s journey with the UN and express what the future of international cooperation could look like.

👉 Tip: Make sure your design is clear, symbolic, and easily printable on a small stamp format.
✍️ Artwork should be made on A4-sized (200 GSM white) art sheets using crayons, pencil colors, watercolors, or acrylic paints.
📩 Submission Details
- Each institution must screen student entries internally and shortlist the best 5 designs.
- These 5 entries must be scanned and uploaded together on the MyGov portal: https://innovateindia.mygov.in
- The entries should also be sent to the Office of the Chief Postmaster General of the concerned postal circle for final evaluation.
Top 10 selected entries will receive goodies from India Post.
The winning stamp will be officially released and the student will be awarded a certificate from the Ministry of External Affairs.
