The Commemorative Stamp
A special stamp has been released to mark 300 years since the birth of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar.

The ₹5 denomination stamp features a beautiful portrait of Ahilyabai Holkar.
Behind her, the dark-colored background shows a grand doorway — most likely the door of Rajwada, the royal palace in Indore that was her seat of power.
The design reflects both her royal dignity and her deep connection with the people.

This stamp is a simple yet powerful tribute to a queen who led with wisdom, strength, and devotion.
Why It Matters
Ahilyabai Holkar was a reformer, a builder, and a spiritual leader.
She empowered women.
She rebuilt temples.
She served the people.
This stamp honours her memory and shares her story with new generations.
It’s a small token for a leader who made a big difference.
