India Post recently announced the results of its Stamp Design Competition celebrating 80 Years of the United Nations. The contest saw an incredible response — over 7.4 lakh students from across India sent in their entries!

The winning design by Ms. Shrestha Majumdar now features on the commemorative postage stamp, released on October 24, 2025 — United Nations Day.
Two other beautiful designs were also selected — Ms. Anshika Jain’s artwork appears on the First Day Cover, and Ms. Rollie Sharma’s design graces the Brochure.

The special stamp was launched at a ceremony held by the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi. The event celebrated not only 80 years of the UN but also the creativity and imagination of India’s young artists.
