12 Years, One Landmark: India Post’s Tribute to the Modi Era

India Post special cancellation issued under the theme “Transformative Governance and Viksit Bharat 2047.”

A special cancellation was released on 10 June 2026, marking the completion of 12 years of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government. On this occasion, Narendra Modi also became India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister, surpassing Jawaharlal Nehru after completing 4,399 days in office.

The cancellation was issued by the Maharashtra Postal Circle at Mumbai GPO under the theme: “12 Years of Transformative Governance and Commitment to Viksit Bharat 2047.”

This was a thoughtful, diplomatic, and innovative initiative by the Maharashtra Postal Circle.
